The Kpopalypse 2017 Objectification Survey results part 3 of 4 – best LEGS in k-pop

The Kpopalypse 2017 Objectification Survey results are back, with part three!  Read on for the best legs in k-pop!

The 2017 Kpopalypse Objectification Survey used more categories and a new, more nuanced scoring system for greater objectification accuracy. Respondents were asked to list three people in each category, in preference order with best first. The scoring system was thus:

Your first choice was weighted 100% higher than your second choice
Your second choice was weighted 66% higher than your third choice
If you doubled or tripled on choices, only the first choice was counted
Choices after the third were disregarded in all cases

Scores were then tallied to give the final result across all categories. The four results posts are as follows:

BEST FEMALE LEGS

#1 – HWASA – MAMAMOO

2017 included the introduction of legs as a brand new category due to popular demand, and much of that popular demand was driven by Hwasa.  Many people may have felt that Hwasa was always going to walk away with this one, but the truth is that her #1 placing was a narrower victory than expected.  Her victory may have been slim, but Hwasa’s thighs were anything but.

#2 – YURA – GIRL’S DAY

The Curse Of Yura strikes again!   It appears to be impossible for Yura to win #1 in any Kpopalypse poll.  With Girl’s Day’s lifespan nearing its end as they are gradually superceded by newer younger groups, it’s unlikely that Yura will perform any better in Kpopalypse polls in the future.  Still, her showing against Hwasa was particularly impressive given that Girl’s Day are basically defunct at this point.

#3 – SEOLHYUN – AOA

Seolhyun placed well among all Kpopalypse polls this year and the new legs category was no exception, with readers clearly feeling that Seolhyun’s legs were some combination of cool, hot, fresh and/or fly.

#4 – NANA – AFTER SCHOOL/ORANGE CARAMEL

There was a bit of a dip after the top three contenders, but people still remembered that Nana is known for doing k-pop occasionally, and that her legs were of interest to many.

#5 – SOOYOUNG – GIRLS’ GENERATION

I never included the legs category in these polls because I’m not really a legs person, however if I was a legs person, I definitely wouldn’t be into Sooyoung’s stick-skinny legs which are barely even there.  Kpopalypse poll results are proof of the varied personal taste of k-pop leg appreciators.

#6 – CHENG XIAO – WJSN (COSMIC GIRLS)

To prove the point, an almost-equal amount of Kpopalypse readers who voted for Sooyoung also voted for Cheng Xiao’s athletic legs that look like they could (and should) snap Johnny Noh’s neck.

#7 – BORA – (EX) SISTAR

Who the fuck knows what Bora will do with herself now that Sistar have disbanded, apart from placing highly in Kpopalypse fap posts of course.

For a group that has always struggled for notoriety, Kyungri’s performance in the survey results was impressive, proving herself as k-pop’s eternal nugu legs queen.

#11 – HYOMIN – T-ARA

Hyomin performed well across most categories and her patented “one-storey shoes” technique helped her secure a high position in the Kpopalypse legs poll.

#12 – ARIN – OH MY GIRL

At first when I saw tons of people voting for Arin (who had never achieved double digits in any category the previous year) I wondered if they were being serious or if it was some kind of inside joke, and then I checked Arin and realised that it was her legs that were serious and my leg-sensing abilities that were the joke.  Kpopalypse will reflect!

Proof that no legs are too nugu for Kpopalypse readers, Sua performed admirably in the Kpopalypse rankings despite maybe only three people outside of this blog’s readership knowing who she is.

BTS delivered an easy 1-2 punch in the results.  These boy scouts may have been bulletproof but they certainly weren’t fap-proof in 2017.

#3 – WONHO – MONSTA X

Monsta X are emerging as the new fap favourites across the board for Kpopalypse readers and Wonho put on a strong showing in this new category.
